Constance Diane Johnson, age 86, of Howard, SD, died, Wednesday, January 28, 2026 under hospice care at Avera De Smet Memorial Hospital. Memorial Services will be 11:00AM, Saturday, February 21st, 2026 at Atonement Lutheran Church, 601 E 98th St. Bloomington, MN with Visitation at 10AM and a luncheon at noon.
This January 28th, 2026, Connie took her final breath, surrounded by loved ones. The sun rose and the world welcomed Connie on November 27th, 1939, a day the world became a little brighter. Connie lived a full and warm life, filled with joy, happiness, and kindness. She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed. Connie is preceded in death by her parents Frank & Myrtle McNamara, husband, Doug Johnson, and two daughters, Janis Johnson and Jennifer Danielson. Connie is survived by her children Dennis (Linda) Riegert, Daniel Johnson, Darryl (Laurie) Johnson, Pamela (Don) Fercho, stepson, Richard Johnson, and son-in-law Tom Danielson. Brothers, Chuck (Judy) McNamara, David McNamara, and Randy (Kate) McNamara, 21 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
