The Oldham-Ramona-Rutland school district is beginning a search for a new Superintendent. Dawn Hoeke, who has been the ORR Superintendent for nearly three years, submitted her resignation at Monday’s board meeting.
Hoeke was brought in to oversee the newly merged district, and lead the construction of a new school. But, that process has been filled with division and legal challenges, as well as a vote that narrowly avoided dissolving the district.
A special board meeting is scheduled for today, where the district will consider hiring Dakota Education Consulting to lead a search for a new Superintendent.
Hoeke’s resignation is effective June 30th of this year.
