Elementary students from Madison Central and St. Thomas gathered at Prostrollo’s on Tuesday, along with veterans and members of the public, to raise the new South Dakota 250th flag at Prostrollo’s Auto Mall.
The flag was designed by America’s 250th South Dakota Commission, and is being sold by Maximum Promotions. The flag, which measures 20-by-30 feet, features a bison with the Badlands in the background.
Another flag was also raised at Sunshine Foods in Madison. Both flags will be displayed until this Thursday.
