Madison Softball delivered a dominant performance Thursday night, defeating Vermillion 9-0 behind a no-hitter from Tobkin in the circle.

Aubri Tobkin was outstanding from start to finish, shutting down the Vermillion lineup for the no-hitter. Tobkin struck out 7 batters, and walked just one.

Offensively, Mara Klingbile led the way with six RBIs, including a grand slam during Madison’s five-run sixth inning. Logan Prostrollo got Madison on the board in the second inning with an RBI single, while Ella Malone added a solo home run to center field in the fourth.

Madison totaled 11 hits in the victory. Tobkin also helped at the plate, going 3-for-4, while Voss collected two hits. Malone showed patience at the plate with three walks as Madison worked five walks as a team.

The 10-1 Bulldogs returns to action Tuesday on the road against West Central.
