South Dakota Housing recently recognized Amanda Palli from CU Mortgage Direct, LLC in Madison as one of the agency’s top loan originators for 2026.

The annual recognition highlights loan originators who have demonstrated exceptional success in connecting homebuyers with affordable financing opportunities through South Dakota Housing’s homeownership programs.

Palli was selected as a top performer among more than 250 loan originators representing 43 participating lending institutions across the state. Honorees were recognized based on loan production within seven geographic regions.

Collectively, the seven regional award recipients helped generate more than $58 million in homeownership loans, said Tammy Jund, South Dakota Housing Homeownership Programs Director. 

Through its homeownership programs and lender partnerships, South Dakota Housing assisted more than 2,000 homebuyers and financed more than $475 million in home loans during the year.

South Dakota Housing also recognized the state's top five participating lending institutions for their outstanding commitment to affordable homeownership. The 2026 honorees are Plains Commerce Bank, First PREMIER Bank, First Bank & Trust, Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation, and First International Bank & Trust.
