Sharon Mae Wrigg was born May 24, 1939 in Hurley, SD, the daughter of Max & Arlene (Brownlee) Wrigg. On November 15, 1957, she married the love of her life, Myron “Pete” Olson and to this union they raised five children. Sharon was a very active member of Our Savior Lutheran Church serving as a Sunday School teacher and in several other positions. She touched the lives of many children with loving care as a daycare provider for 42 years.

Sharon enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking/baking, gardening, playing cards and spending time with family and friends. Sharon spent her life being a steady light of unconditional love and quiet grace for everyone she met. To know Sharon was to feel welcomed, fed and understood. Her hands were rarely still whether she was attending to her garden/flowers making a favorite treat for a neighbor or volunteering her time with church and 60’s Plus. She poured her heart into acts of service and she did not want the spotlight. Her joy came from seeing others happy, comfortable and cared for.

Sharon was an extraordinary mother and she taught her children the value of faith, kindness and unconditional love. No matter how busy life became, she always made each of her children feel as though they were the most important people in the world. She always greeted everyone with a smile and a hug. Pete and Sharon dedicated their lives to being built around family, faith and hard work.

Sharon is survived by her five children-Rod (Carol) of Ocala, FL, Randy (Deb) of Highmore, SD, Wendy (Tim) Tolley of Ramona, SD, Julie (Joe) Walter of Mitchell, SD, and Lisa (Greg) Ordal of Madison, SD; 12 grandchildren & 2 step-grandsons along with 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, LeRoy Wrigg.
