It’s Homecoming Week at Madison Central, with students celebrating Bulldog pride through a “Decade Dash” theme September 14th through the 18th.

The week includes a different theme for each day. Monday is 90s Retro, with students encouraged to dress in their best 1990s outfits. Tuesday is 80s Aerobic, followed by Wild Old West on Wednesday. Thursday’s theme is 20s Memes, and Friday wraps up the week with “Rewind and Rep Bulldogs,” with students encouraged to wear Bulldog gear.

Madison announced its 2026 Homecoming royalty candidates on Friday. They are Jade Wilkens, Cooper Bergheim, Ashten Dorhout, Ethan Sims, Oliver Meyer, Paislee Cooney, Karstyn Miller, Calista Sahr, Lydia Breddin and Kylee Oines.

The Homecoming Coronation is Tuesday, September 15th, at the DSU Playhouse beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Then on Thursday, September 17th, students and the community can take part in the Homecoming Carnival at the Marching Band Practice Field from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Friday’s Homecoming football game vs. Vermillion starts at 7pm at Brian Kern Family Stadium.
