The Madison High School boys golf team finished seventh Monday at the Dak XII Conference Meet.

The Bulldogs finished with a team score of 324, or 44 over par.

Madison was led by Braylon Oftedal, who fired a 69, finishing second individually.

Three Bulldogs finished with identical scores. Kirby Oftedal, Cannon Hunsley and Ben Wieman each shot an 85.

Oakley Mees finished with a 92, while Tevin Thompson shot a 104.

Vermillion won the team championship with a score of 291, 11 over par. Dakota Valley and West Central tied for second at 292.

Individually, Vermillion’s Jeran Carr won the meet with a four-under-par 66. Braylon Oftedal was the runner-up.

The Madison Boys will head to Dell Rapids on Monday for the Region 1A meet.
