Seasonal load limits went into effect in Lake County on Wednesday.

Lake County Highway Superintendent Tim Tolley said the restrictions are in effect due to unusual warm weather conditions.  With the load limits in place, all hard surface and gravel roads in the county are restricted to seven-ton per axle.

There are some areas with exceptions and a listing of those can be found in this story on our website at amazingmadison.com.

Seasonal road restrictions will remain in effect until lifted by the Lake County Highway Superintendent.
