The Lake County Commission approved its provisional budget for 2027, during Tuesday’s commission meeting. 

The provisional budget total is $12,971,138. That includes $4,523,529 for the Road & Bridge Fund, and a General Fund of $6,668,759. 

Commissioners also approved a Local Emergency Management Performance Grant Agreement for 2027. The grant pays for half the wages for the Emergency Management Director. Also approved was a Homeland Security grant of $55,798 that will be used to purchase radios and ambulance pagers. 

The next county commission meeting will be Tuesday, September 15th.
