The Dakota State University Women’s and Men’s basketball teams swept their final regular season games over the weekend. The men defeated Dickinson State and Bismark State by scores of 84-74, and 86-72. The Trojan women topped Dickinson 85-63, and Bismark 117-56.
The DSU men finished their regular season with an 18-9 overall record, and a 13-9 record in the Frontier Conference. The Trojans will be the #6 seed in the conference tournament, and will take on #3 Carroll on Saturday night at 8:30pm. DSU lost to Carroll twice this season, by a combined 8 points.
The Trojan women finished their regular season 24-4, and a conference best 19-3 in the Frontier. They are the #1 seed in the postseason tournament, and will take on #8 Bismark State in the opening round this Friday at 1pm.
All Frontier Conference tournament games will be played at the Butte Civic Center in Butte, Montana. All DSU postseason games can be heard on F103.1 FM.
