As expected, gasoline prices jumped higher Monday following President Trump’s decision to launch aerial strikes on Iran over the weekend.
Triple-A Auto Club reports the national average price of gas Tuesday is $3.10 a gallon, that’s up 11-cents a gallon in the past 24 hours.
It’s a similar story in South Dakota, where the statewide average is $2.86 a gallon. That’s an increase of 15-cents a gallon in the past day.
In Watertown, one station that recently was selling gas for $2.56 a gallon, had a posted price of $2.89 this morning.
