The Moody County Sheriff’s office is still looking for Zachariah Ryan, the individual who  absconded, and triggered a police search on Wednesday night.  

In an update last night, the Moody County Sheriff says the department followed up on many different leads throughout the day, but were not able to locate Ryan.  

At 8:53pm the Sheriff said a report was called in of a possible match near 471st Ave and 231St, north of Jerry’s Electric. Units converged on the area with man power and air support in the form of a Drone from the Flandreau Santee Tribal PD. A residence north of this area was cleared and no one was found,  by either the ground or the air.

The public in the area around Colman is still encouraged to lock up residences and vehicles.
