Donna Haug, age 87, formerly of Madison, SD, died Thursday, March 26,2026 at Suite Living Senior Care in Inver Grove Heights, MN. Funeral Services will be, 11:00AM, Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Visitation will be one hour preceding the service. A lunch will be served following burial at Graceland Cemetery. 

Donna Mae Diller was born May 7, 1938, to Max and Annie (Fjellanger) Diller of rural Dent, Mn. She was the fourth of six children. In 1944 after the death of her mother, she and her sister Beverly went to live with an aunt and uncle on a farm near Jasper, Mn.

In 1958, after graduating from Stewarts School of Hair Design in Sioux Falls, she moved to Madison, SD. On October 15,1960 she married Merrill “Dean” Haug. They made their home in Madison and raised their two children.

Donna worked as a hairstylist for over sixty years. First, at the Charm Shop in downtown Madison with Opal Questad. In 1981, she moved the salon to her home on Harth Ave. She officially retired in 2022. She is survived by her two children Rob of Madison and Janet Bonacorda (Bob) of Cottage Grove, Mn., four grandchildren Ben Haug (Jackie), Kaitlin Pierson, Anna Bonacorda and Philip Bonacorda (Danielle) and four great grandchildren Hensley and Hannah Haug, and Jacob and Ava Bonacorda.
