Dakota State University is now accepting registrations for its 2026 summer cybersecurity camps, offering middle and high school students immersive, hands-on experiences in cyber, programming, and digital safety.

Each camp is designed to introduce students to the rapidly evolving digital landscape through guided instruction, collaborative problem-solving, and practical application. Participants will learn from DSU faculty, students, and industry mentors while building technical skills and confidence.

All camps are residential and held on the DSU campus. Students will stay in university residence halls, providing a structured and supervised introduction to college life while fostering independence and peer connections. The cost for each camp is $250, and all required technology is provided.

The 2026 camp offerings include:

The DSU Cyber Camp for High School Students, June 7–11.

Open to students entering grades 10–12, this camp introduces foundational concepts in cybersecurity, networking, and programming.

DSU Cyber Camp for Middle School Girls, June 15–18. This camp is designed for current middle school girls, and emphasizes collaborative learning through team-based challenges, mini labs, and competitions.

The DSU Cyber Camp for Middle School Boys, will be June 21–24.
