The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help as it investigates two recent acts of vandalism in Wentworth.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the incidents occurred during the weekends of April 11-12 and June 28-29 in the 200 block of South Main Street in Wentworth.

Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area, has surveillance or security camera footage, or has heard information that could assist the investigation to come forward.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Lake County Sheriff’s Office at 605-256-7615 or submit an anonymous tip through the Sheriff’s Office mobile app.

Authorities say even the smallest piece of information could help identify those responsible. The Sheriff’s Office also thanked the community for its continued support in helping keep Lake County neighborhoods safe.
