The Delta Dental Mobile Program will return to Madison this summer to provide oral health care to young people. The bus will be at Interlakes-Community Action Partnership (ICAP) Head Start & Early Head Start Center August 10-14.

Registration in advance is needed, and appointments are now being accepted. For details, call Jacqueline at Interlakes Community Action Partnership (ICAP) at 605-291-2713.

Delta Dental’s annual visit is the result of a partnership between ICAP, Interlakes Area United Way (IAUW) and Delta Dental of South Dakota. In 2025, the program provided $25,230 in dental care to 47 area youth.

Each bus travels with a dentist, hygienist, two dental assistants and a coordinator. Patient care includes exams, cleanings, preventive treatments and cavity fillings.

Oral health education is also provided so patients can continue to care for their teeth after the visit.

Children from their first tooth through age 21 are eligible. Services are provided at no cost to the child or family, and insurance is not necessary–only a patient consent and information form must be completed.
