City of Madison offices will be closed today, so that staff can attend the funeral services for longtime city employee Kester Dahl. 

Dahl worked for the city of Madison for 23 years, and was recently named the Lead Operator for the Wastewater and Water Treatment Plant. He also recently retired after 27 years as a volunteer firefighter. 

In addition to city offices being closed today, there will be no garbage pickup today. Monday’s routes will be collected on Tuesday, and Tuesday’s routes on Wednesday. 

Funeral services for Kester Dahl will be held today at 10:30, at St. Thomas Catholic Church.
