Monday is Memorial Day, a day on which those who died in active military service are remembered.
In honor of Memorial Day, there are several different programs or events in the area.
Wentworth Memorial Day Service will be held at 11am in the Wentworth Cemetery followed by a feed for 120 guests at $15 per person in the Wentworth Hall.
Madison will honor our fallen heroes this Memorial Day, May 25 at 11 a.m. on the Lake County Courthouse lawn. The guest speaker is Colonel Richard D. Stearns, a Madison native with over 30 years of distinguished Army service, including multiple overseas deployments and leadership roles from platoon to battalion command.
