An America 250th celebration will be held today at Library Park in Madison. 

The commemoration will begin at 4:30pm this afternoon, with a ringing of the bells, to summon people to the park, followed by a flag procession led by the VFW and American Legion. The Madison Master Singers will lead the national anthem and a short musical program. 

At 5pm, Skip Martin will hold a reading of the Declaration of Independence. Closing remarks at 5:15 will be by Madison Mayor Roy Lindsay. 

The public is advised to bring lawn chairs, as picnic table seating may be limited. 

The celebration is being organized by the Lake County Museum, Madison Public Library, Sundog Coffee, and the City of Madison.
