The City of Madison is seeking residents interested in serving on its Sidewalk Committee.

The committee helps guide future sidewalk improvement projects throughout the community and reviews requests from property owners seeking variances related to sidewalk projects.

City officials say serving on the committee requires only a minimal time commitment. The committee typically meets once a year to discuss future sidewalk priorities and may also meet as needed to consider variance requests.

Residents interested in serving on the committee are encouraged to apply.

Anyone with questions can stop by the Engineering Office at Madison City Hall or contact Chad Van Den Hemel at (605) 427-2180 for more information.
