The Madison Central School Board held their regular and annual meeting on Monday. 

The board read a proclamation of thanks for Lindsay Planting, who is resigning after four years on the school board. 

Melanie Argo took her oath of office for a new three-year term. Joel Van Batavia was also appointed to a one year term, and sworn in on Monday. 

Steve Nelson was elected as board president for the year, Argo was elected as vice president. 

In personnel action, the board accepted the resignation of Michelle Wolf as a library para. They also approved the hiring of Sadie Oltmanns as STEAM Para Professional, and Dana Bent as Library Para. 

New superintendent, Dr. Abi Van Regenmorter, gave an update on her first two weeks on the job.

The board also approved the publication of the 2026-27 staff salaries, and designated the regular board meetings to be held the second Monday of each month, at 5:30pm.
