Community support once again made a big impact for local children’s healthcare, as this year’s Miracle Treat Day in Madison raised $85,886.68 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
The total was made possible through donations from families who purchased Blizzard Treats, local businesses that sponsored the campaign, volunteers, raffle ticket buyers, and community members who supported the fundraising effort in a variety of ways.
Dairy Queen Chief Operating Officer Art Dahlia was in Madison Thursday, to celebrate the long relationship between CMN and Dairy Queen.
Madison Dairy Queen owner DeLon Mork says there is a deep trust between the community, the Dairy Queen, and CMN.
D’Elia says Miracle Treat Day’s success reflects Madison’s longstanding tradition of giving back, with organizers thanking the community for once again demonstrating why the city has earned the nickname “Miracle City.”
