Madison residents are invited to celebrate National Night Out during tonight’s Downtown in MadTown event, from 6 to 9 p.m. in downtown Madison.
Madison Police Chief Justin Meyer says the family-friendly event will give community members an opportunity to meet local police, fire and emergency personnel.
Other activities include a dunk tank and the D.A.R.E. train, live music by country artist Casey Muesigmann, along with food trucks, face painting and inflatable attractions for children.
Meyer says merging National Night out with Downtown in MadTown has been a great success.
The Downtown in MadTown National Night Out celebration is sponsored by Service First Federal Credit Union and NorthWestern Energy. Admission is free.
