The Lake County Commission holds its regular meeting on Tuesday morning. County commissioners are scheduled to adopt the county’s 2027 budget resolution, and hold a public hearing on a retail on-off sale malt beverage and South Dakota Farm Wine license for 

F&M Co-op in Chester. Also on Tuesday, Eric Hortness with the Madison Baseball Association will discuss new lights at the Field of Dreams with county commissioners. 

Meeting as a Board of Adjustment, Lake County Commissioners will consider a Conditional Use for Jordan and Lacey Olson to operate a repair shop in the ag district at 9:30 Tuesday morning, and at 10:00, the Board of Adjustment will discuss an appeal of a decision/determination of the Lake County Zoning Officer/Zoning violation for Ryan Eichacker.

As a joint planning and county commission, several plats will also be considered during Tuesday’s meeting.

An executive session to discuss personnel is scheduled for the end of tomorrow’s county commission meeting. The Lake County Commission meets on Tuesday starting at 9:00 a.m. in the commission meeting room in the Lake County Courthouse in Madison.
