Dakota State University will welcome Dr. Blake Evermon as the keynote speaker for its Fall Doctoral Residency Dinner Wednesday, October 28th.
Evermon will share his path to earning a doctorate and how his education helped shape his career in artificial intelligence and automation.
He serves as Automation Leader for G-H-D’s Delivery Transformation team, leading artificial intelligence and automation initiatives across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
Evermon began his career as an intelligence analyst with the FBI and has more than 15 years of experience in public infrastructure, energy and technology. He also teaches graduate courses at Missouri State University.
He earned a Doctor of Public Administration from the University of Illinois Springfield.
DSU officials say Evermon’s message will focus on perseverance, interdisciplinary thinking and the opportunities that can emerge from earning a doctorate, even when the career path ahead is uncertain.
The October 28th dinner begins at 6 p.m. in the Heartland Captains Club at the Beacom PREMIER Complex.
