A bus slide near Lake Madison prompted the Lake County Sheriff’s Office to close a roadway Tuesday morning.

The incident happened near the intersection of 462nd Avenue and 237th Street.

In a Facebook post shared at 8:37 Tuesday morning, the Sheriff’s Office said all students and the driver were okay and on their way to school.

The roadway was closed, and motorists are asked to avoid the area until the road has a chance to dry.
