Estelline/Hendricks won their 4th straight Class A State Gymnastics Championship on Friday. The Redhawks finished with a team score of 140.533, nearly three points ahead of 2nd place Parkston/Ethan/Hanson/Mount Vernon. The Madison Bulldogs placed 4th as a team with a total of 136.25.
Saturday’s Individual Competition was also highlighted by wins from Estelline/Hendricks. The Redhawks Maggie Hausman won the All-Around with a score of 37.900. Kylah Biggins of Chamberlain was 2nd.
Top performers for Madison included Izzy Kelsey, who finished 7th on the Vault with a score of 8.9833. Kyra Wiese 5th in the Floor, with a score of 9.2. She also placed 10th on the Bars.
