Madison City Commissioners will hold their final meeting of February this afternoon. Items on the agenda include the 2nd reading of Ordinance No. 1685, the zoning ordinance that would change a parcel of city owned land near highway 34 to Light Manufacturing. The rezoning would allow for the possibility of a data center to eventually be built on that property.
Other items on the agenda today include a pair of tax abatements, an updated agreement with Lake County regarding 911 communications, and an update agreement for wheeling electric power for Sioux Valley Energy.
Today’s City Commission meeting begins at 5:30pm in the Commission Chambers of Madison City Hall.
