The Colman-Egan girls have advanced to the Class B State Basketball Tournament, for the first time since 2009. The Hawks topped Warner 49-44 Thursday, in the SoDak 16.
Brynlee Landis scored a game high 20 points for the Hawks, to go along with seven rebounds and three assists. Quinn Meyer added 12 points, Jolie Flatten nine, and Mya Reiff had six. Reiff also had six blocks and six rebounds.
Colman-Egan will be the #5 seed in next weeks tournament, and will take on #4 Ethan in Thursday’s Quarterfinals. That game is scheduled to start at 12:45pm Thursday, at 1st Bank & Trust Arena, on the campus of SDSU.
