The Madison high school girls softball team defeated Beresford 13 -2 on Thursday afternoon.

Madison jumped in front with a 5 run second inning, and added 3 more in the third to put the game away early.

Ella Malone and Jayna Petersen each at home runs for the Bulldogs. Mara Klingbile finished with 2 hits and 2 RBIs. Aubri Tobkin added 2 hits and drove in 3 runs. Logan Prostrollo went 3-for-3 with three runs and two RBIs. Kelsey Dudley picked up the win, striking out 10 over 7 innings.

The 3-1 Bulldogs will be back in action Thursday hosting Sioux Valley.
