Kennedy Alverson drove in five runs on one hit to lead Chester Softball past Colman-Egan 12-1 on Wednesday.

Chester opened the scoring in the first after Kaitlyn Swenson hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.

The Flyers scored five runs on one hit in the bottom of the second inning. An error scored two runs, Jacy Wolf hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.

In the fifth inning, Alverson hit a grand slam to left field, as Chester ended the game on a ten run rule.

Alverson was also the winning pitcher, striking our 4 over 5 innings.

The 3-2 Flyers will take on Garretson this coming Monday
