The Madison High School Softball team is back in action again this afternoon, hosting Sioux Falls Christian. The Bulldogs are 6-1 this season, and come into todays game on a four game winning streak.

The strong start has Madison ranked #2 in the latest Class A Coaches Poll. Tri-Valley, the only team to beat the Bulldogs this season, is currently ranked #1. The Mustangs received 32 points in the poll, just one point better than the Bulldogs.

Madison has two more home games to start next week, hosting Chester and Brookings on Monday and Tuesday, respectively.

Postseason play starts May 26th, with the SoDak 16. The State Tournament runs June 4th-6th, in Aberdeen.

Today’s game against the Chargers starts at 5pm, at the Thue Field.
