Theodore “Ted” Lindholm, 80, of Wentworth passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2026 at the Veteran’s hospital in Sioux Falls. Memorial Services will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, September 5, 2026 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Wentworth with inurnment with Military Honors following at Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday at the Ellsworth Funeral Home. 

Ted Lindholm was born on February 16, 1946 in Madison, SD. He was baptized on March 17, 1946. He grew up on the family farm and attended the Wentworth school. Ted graduated from Chester, High School in 1964. He farmed with his family until he entered the U.S. Air Force in 1966. He served in Thailand. After his discharge in 1970, Ted returned to the family farm. He was married to Carolyn Nesheim on September 17, 1971 in Madison. They made their home in Wentworth and Ted farmed. In 1990, he started work for Roscoe Manufacturing. He worked there until they closed. Ted then went to work for Persona Manufacturing. He remained there until his retirement. Ted and Carolyn have continued to make their home in Wentworth.

Ted was a member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church in Wentworth and the Wentworth American Legion Post. He was a man of simple pleasures which always revolved around his family.

He is survived by his wife, Carloyn of Wentworth; his son, Troy (Sara) of Sioux Falls; his daughter, Shelli (Cam) Crosby of Dell Rapids; his eight grandchildren; his three brothers, Daniel (Bonnie), Pat (Kim), and Loren (Amy), all of Wentworth; and his two sisters, Linda (Jim) Krsnak of Chester and Teresa (Todd) Garry of Sioux Falls.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
