Interlakes Area United Way’s annual Dine Out to Donate event is returning Wednesday, October 7.

Participating restaurants and businesses in Lake and Moody counties will donate a portion of their sales to the United Way.

This is the 10th year for the event, which has raised more than 33-thousand dollars since 2017.

In Lake County, participating businesses include The Broadwater Bar, Cherry Lanes, Classic Corner, Country Cafe, Dairy Queen, Gary’s Bakery and Cafe, Go Go Burrito, Lakes Bar and Grill, Los Tapatios, Rosie’s Farmhouse Cafe, The Office, OneStop, Pizza Ranch, The Point, Sporty’s, Subway and Sundog Coffee.

Moody County will have five locations participating, and The Salty Mare Coffee Company will be in Howard from 7 to noon, then in Madison from 4 to 8 on the 7th. 

United Way says the funds raised support nonprofit programs involving food and housing assistance, childcare, education and health services.

In 2026, Interlakes Area United Way awarded more than 169-thousand dollars to 29 nonprofit organizations across Lake, Miner and Moody counties.
