Incumbent Corey Johnke, and former legislator and county sheriff Tim Walburg, won the republican primary for Lake County Commission on Tuesday.
Walburg secured 1,386 votes, Johnke 928, and Dustin Jung 505.
Walburg and Johnke advanced to the November general election, along with democrat Charlie Johnson.
Also in Lake County, Ashlee Roling defeated Jennifer Lebahn for a seat on the Oldham-Ramona-Rutland School Board, 163 to 139. Mitchell Maher defeated Amber Malisch for a seat from Rutland on the ORR board, 192 to 60.
Voter turnout was 45% in Lake County, with 2,075 ballots cast. That turnout number does not include any voters who did not have a race to vote on.
Lake County republicans cast 581 votes for Toby Doeden for governor. Larry Rhoden received 546, Dusty Johnson 484, and Jon Hansen 314. Those numbers closely mirrored the overall vote totals in the state. Doeden and Rhoden will now face each other in a runoff primary election on July 28th.
The Lake County Commission will make these results final, when they canvas the election during their meeting on Thursday.
