Madison Central School District is preparing to welcome students back to class with open houses ahead of the 2026-27 school year.
The events will give students and families an opportunity to visit their schools, meet teachers, find classrooms and get familiar with schedules before the first day of school.
Madison Superintendent Abi Van Regenmorter says it is a great way to make kids comfortable before school starts.
Van Regenmorter says it’s not just the students who will be experiencing a new year.
Open houses will be held Monday and Tuesday, with school starting on Wednesday.
